TEST FORMAT

Test Type Description
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) The most common format, administered at test centers worldwide. It measures reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition A version of the iBT test taken at home under remote supervision. Available to test takers who meet the technical requirements and live in eligible regions.

TOEFL scores are typically available 6 days after the test date

Test results are provided in the form of an Official Score Report (OSR), which includes scores for each section and a total score

You can send your scores to up to 4 institutions for free. Additional score reports can be sent for a fee

TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years from the test date. After 2 years, the scores are no longer considered valid, and you’ll need to retake the test if needed for future applications

Registration for the TOEFL can be done online via the official ETS TOEFL website. You will need to create an account, select your test date and location, and pay the test fee. Be sure to have a valid passport or government-issued ID, as it is required for registration.
